It’s that time of the year, y’all! Although we’re not officially in Fall just yet, the Pumpkin Spice products have hit the shelves at the stores. So you know what that means, the basic witches are on the loose.
The following cocktail was inspired by every basic witch’s fall coffee drink that can be purchased at their favorite mermaid coffee shop. Although I’ve made a Basic Witch cocktail in the past, I feel like this iteration is more basic and easier to make, with just the right amount of sweetness. Enjoy!
Recipe
- 2oz coffee liqueur
- 1oz pumpkin spice creamer of choice
- .5oz scratch made pumpkin spice syrup
Pumpkin Spice recipe
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/8 cup pumpkin spice
Combine all ingredients into a sauce pan. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Simmer. Strain through coffee filter or fine strainer into glass container.
