Happy New Year! This year has kicked off with quite a bang, has it not? So to celebrate, I decided to create a riff on one of my go to drinks, a sour.
I made a blackberry honey syrup and decided to pair it with a blueberry brandy made by my friends at Yalaha Bootlegging, and a millet whiskey from Koval. I used fresh lemon juice and eggwhite to make this a proper sour. Enjoy!
1oz millet whiskey @kovaldistillery
1oz blueberry brandy @yalahabootlegging
1oz freshly pressed lemon juice
1oz scratch made blackberry honey syrup
Dry shake, then shake with ice and strain over a glass with a @truecubes ice cube. Garnish with a blackberry.
