DMX was one of my favorite rappers of all time, growing up. The man rapped about a lot of different subjects, but, no matter the topic, he did it with passion. If you’ve ever seen a live show, you would see him rap with tears in his eyes, even cry at times. His upbringing wasn’t the most loving. He also suffered from depression and, even though he didn’t go into detail about it, dissociative identity disorder. May he rest in power!
I wanted to pay homage by replicating the filter on his debut album, “It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot”. Enjoy!
