Milk & Cookies

What’s your favorite brand of cookie? I recently fell in love with @lotusbiscoffus

I’m not much for sweets, but this cookie has a particular flavor that I can’t resist. The flavor also lends itself for Fall/Christmas creations.

I decided to make a syrup that had the same flavor profile as the cookies. The syrup consists of cinnamon powder, almond milk, and turbinado sugar.

I used rye whiskey as the base, and Angostura bitters to add more spice. Finally, I rounded out the cocktail with some almond milk. This is a treat that Santa will love! Enjoy!

Biscoff Syrup Recipe

2 dashes cinnamon powder (or more, to taste)
2 cups of almond milk
1 cup turbinado sugar

Pour everything into a sauce pan. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Simmer in low to medium heat for 10 minutes. Pour into a glass container and let it cool down.
