This next cocktail is inspired by the Pyke Syndicate from Star Wars lore. The Pykes are an alien species with elongated necks, large heads, and abnormally small faces. They usually wear masks. Their claim to fame is that they’re the galaxy’s preeminent suppliers of spice.
Spice is a narcotic substance that is mined by slaves on planet Kessel. It is said to be addictive and cause hallucinations to the user.
With that being said, different spices came to mind when I decided to make this drink. I decided to build the drink around that. Enjoy!
Recipe
- 2oz Gin @waterloogin
- 1oz Freshly pressed lime juice
- .5oz Cardamom & clove syrup @royalroseme
- .5oz Spiced orange & grapefruit cordial @shakerandspoon
- .25oz Spice X shrub @marleeandcomarket
- Dusted with nutmeg (optional)
Method
Pour all wet ingredients into a shaker tin with ice.
Shake.
Strain into serving glass with ice.
Dust some nutmeg.
Enjoy!
